There are two things that I did not care for in the novel, and evidently it lowered my rating for it. The first, like I mentioned above, is that the writing starts to feel immensely dense about halfway through the title. I'm not sure if this is related to the translation, or if it's because the overall tone of the entire thing just remains relatively stagnant.
