I've been more captivated reading the walls of public toilets. No redeeming quality other than a paper thin dribble of a plot that time again proves your ability to guess what happens next. Felt compelled to read in order to judge for myself. Can now formally say, from a place of authority, that this book is a yawn, a joke, about as sexy as your uncle dancing at a wedding.

download a thesaurus! There isn't much to say except hands down best book of the century. Money well spent on getting the site edition.

Not my usual read, and I know I am a bit behind the times, but I have enjoyed something different, am not a Mills and Boons kind of person, lol. I read this on site while I use my exercise bike: An entertaining book , but a bit repetitive at times. I couldn't put it down. It kept me wanting more. Very addictive.

I can't wait to read the next one. A good bedtime read it gets you in and keeps you wanting to read more. Share your thoughts with other customers. Write a customer review. Let's be honest, it's over-the-top, unrealistic, but totally titillating. If you love a good romance it doesn't get better than the Fifty Shades trilogy. Christian is captivating and you live every moment of Anastasia' s agony and extacy.

The chemistry burns the page and the relationship unfolds beautifully.

The feminist cynics miss Anastasia' s strength and is not just a passenger in the relationship. I loved every page of this journey.

I initially decided to read just a sample of the the first book after watching the movie trailer. Personally i thought there was just too much noise about a this book. But i have to say after reading the sample copy, i made my first download of book one and by the end of the first book, i was hooked. Two days of doing absolutely nothing and i had consumed all the pages of the whole trilogy.

The erotic content of this work was absolutely steamy, but, what kept me glued, i have to admit was the love story of Christian and Ana.

Share your thoughts and debate the big issues

To me the story was not rushed and you saw the characters grow and develop and at times you felt like reaching within the pages to knock Christian Grey over the head for being such "megalomaniac-controlfreak-fiftyshades". To be honest, i was impressed by this work and i salute its author for giving us a refreshing erotic romance. The only thing i did not enjoy, and i do not limit this criticism to just the works of E.

James but to othe writers as well, is the use of the 1st person PoV. It limits the reader to just one characters train of thoughts.

And most times when i come across books like that, i am immediately put off and have no inkling to want to continue my reading beyond page 1. Thank God for the fifty shades of Grey movie trailer or i would never have discovered what a fantastic read this series is.

I give it my full recommendation.

Having heard many positive and negative reviews, I finally fell for the hype and decided to see for myself. I heard that the author writing and story was written for nine years old Having read all three books in sequence, I find an interesting story about attachment, trauma, love, sexuality and sensuality.

I heard that the story was glorifying sexual abuse This story is about consensual sexual expression and exploration. Make an informed decision for yourself, you might learn something! I enjoyed this exciting, raunchy love story. Totally different from the usual romances I have read.
