The book is well written, well organized and easy to follow. The information is action packed and leads you step-by-step in creating your own profitable Google AdWords account. In his book, Mr. Marshall provides great tips and insights.

Some of the key things you will learn include: You will learn how to tell if a market is for you. You will see how to set up your campaign and tweak it for maximum effectiveness. How to Pay Less and Get More Clicks - See how to organize your campaign and use split testing to determine which ads are producing the best results.

Find the best keywords and how to eliminate keywords that aren't working. How to Develop High Quality Keyword Lists and how to Craft Killer Headlines - Perry will teach you how to "research" keywords and get rid of visitors who waste your time. You will also discover how to write "killer" ad copy that grabs your visitors attention and begs them to click your ad. Perry will teach you how to create a "catchy" one sentence USP that tells customers what separates you from the competition and why they should do business with you.

If I was doing well, the well just got much deeper! This book began to make me money the first time I went to the computer armed only with the first few chapters and the butterflies in my stomach!

I have not been this excited about marketing in a while. I read the book in a matter of days and have implemented many of the strategies authors Perry Marshall and Bryan Todd present. The results were immediate and dramatic. By taking ad groups that had been performing fine and using their "peel and stick" method, to move poorly performing keywords and create new ad groups with the better performing keywords; I have in many cases doubled and tripled my click through rate. This has allowed me to bid higher, gaining better position leading to even higher click through rates.

Google then rewards this "relevance" with lower "price per click" for my adds! I have always thought of myself as a competent copy writer but with the guidance I received from Marshall and Todd and the "split testing" technique they promote, my adds have never been better. Bottom line, this book will make you money! I could not recommend this book any stronger for any business owner that uses the internet to market their goods or services.

If I could give it ten stars I would. The Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords is a well-informed guide providing great strategies, tools and techniques required to enjoy success with Google's advertising program. The book covers invaluable topics including how advertisers can build competitive campaigns, and how they can enhance their visibility at the search engine. Other things to learn from this book are strategies for improving CTRs, increased traffic as well as impressive sales.

If there is one book that I can recommend to online advertisers, it is this one. Perry Marshall and Brian Todd are experts on Google AdWords program, and the book is rich with well-researched techniques. While you can learn the technical bits anywhere, what really impressed me about the book is that it lays out a systematic approach of applying AdWords to meet your online marketing goals.

Whether you are already using Google's advertisement program - AdWords or are just getting started, I would recommend that you start with this book. The only thing I would suggest is that you follow what the guide proposes to really see the results. Many marketers have used AdWords with no substantial success because the strategies are not always apparent. A thoroughly recommend this book to any sole trader or big business who uses Google Adwords to advertise their prodicts or services.

The book was easy to follow and to understand but I think it does require some technical knowledge or at least be comfortable using the computer in order to put things in place.

The techniques described seem like they would serve any business well. There were one too many shameless plugs for Perry Marshall's paid materials, but the authors are sales experts, so what can you expect? Splitting word hyphens in print sure can wreck havoc on URLs If you are new to online advertising and marketing, the information the book is comprehensive enough to orient you to how most of the online marketing works and you can use this information more or less to every other advertising network online.

Reading this book won't make you a master of Adwords, but it is a solid foundation on which to base your campaigns. A very general guide that is good for beginners bit not enough in-depth information about any one particular topic. I wish there was more information on how to best organize and lay out AdWords ad groups and campaigns. Also, the author repeatedly and blatantly advertises his website and the resources that are available on it, but those resources don't prove to be very helpful.

Highly recommeded after reading Advanced Google Adwords on my read list. Excellent reference especially those who are just starting out in Google Adwords. Perry Marshall makes everything sound so easy. Some of the tips may be outdated though but they still work. Very good eBook on all things to do with Adwords. I was a complete novice before the read and it gave me the confidence to tackle Google Adwords, which can be a daunting task! Good insights on Google AdWords in a non-technical commentary.
