I really enjoy Krishnamurti and Gwynn's writing style. The examples are very comprehensive and quite broad considering it was published almost 34 years ago.

It is not in the least bit prescriptive or presumptuous.

It is a highly recommended reference text for any Ling majors looking to do research on Telugu or to anyone who's curious about the language. Jun 24, Sowmya rated it really liked it Shelves: It is a grammar book that really is directed towards non-native mostly non-Indian too Telugu learners.

Yet, it helped me in understanding certain aspects of Telugu that I never really noticed before. It of course raises endless questions whose answers I would probably find in a linguistics book rather than a grammar textbook.

Telugu uses morphological processes to join words together, forming complex words. These processes are traditionally referred to as sandhi.
